Is A Vaginal Yeast Infection Contagious? - That’s The Question!

So many women are worried and they are asking the question “Is A Vaginal Yeast Infection Contagious?” You worry that your fungus infection may be passed on to the rest of your family.

Now, the first thing you need to know here is, it is not contagious in the normal sense of, for instance, a cold passed. There are a few ways, though, that your family can be contaminated.

So, in general, if you are asking me the question “is a vaginal yeast infection contagious?” I would say yes, under certain conditions.

Ways that a vaginal yeast infection can be spread:

1. The first is a very important one; it can spread through bad hygiene! If there are many people in a house using the same toilet, the toilet needs to be cleaned very well every day. If someone in the family has a yeast infection it should be cleaned even more.

2. The next ties in with the above; the cloth used to clean the toilets with is not washed and rinsed very well after each use. In this way some of the Candida spores remain between the fibers, grows there and then contaminates the toilet when it is used to clean the toilet with!

Wash the cloth thoroughly and rinse it out open so that the running water can wash all the spores out from the fibers. This is important, if you keep the cloth scrunched into a bundle when you rinse it, it will not get a chance to rinse away all the cleaning liquid and Candida spores.

3. Now for the most common one, if you have a partner, you can of course pass it on if you have relations while you have a vaginal yeast infection. I think, this is probably the most important way in which a vaginal yeast infection is normally passes on.

Here it is important that your partner is treated as well as he can pass it right back to you if he is contaminated by you and gets a yeast infection as a result of that. Both partners need to be treated.

Now that you are aware that a vaginal yeast infection is indeed contagious, you have to think about treatment. The best, of course, is a natural cure yeast infection. Medications can help you get rid of the acute symptoms, but then you have to move on to a natural cure yeast infection to get rid of the yeast infection for good.

In answer to your question “is a vaginal yeast infection contagious?” yes, under certain circumstances a vaginal yeast infection is indeed contagious.
